- What subjects do you tutor?
I offer tutoring for K–12 students in math, English (reading, writing, grammar), homework
help, and school projects. If you’re not sure if I cover something, just ask! - How long is each session?
Each session is typically one hour, though longer or shorter sessions can be arranged
depending on your child’s needs and attention span. - Where does tutoring take place?
I offer in-person tutoring at local libraries only—no in-home tutoring for safety reasons.
You can also choose online tutoring via Zoom or Google Classroom or do a hybrid schedule (some sessions online, some in-
person) depending on what works best for your family! - How much does tutoring cost?
My standard rate is $25/hour. I offer structured plans for biweekly and monthly tutoring
with pricing incentives (see the “Tutoring Plans” flyer for details). - Do you assign extra homework?
Not usually—but if your child could benefit from extra practice between sessions, I’m happy
to provide optional exercises or study games! - How do I reschedule or cancel a session?
Just send me a text or email at least 24 hours in advance. Each student gets two no-fee
cancellations per month. (See full cancellation policy for more info.) - What if we miss a session?
- Same-day cancellations (less than 24 hrs notice) count as a used session and are non-
refundable. - No-shows (no notice at all) are charged the full session rate and may result in being
removed from the schedule.
The difference? A same-day cancel means you still told me—so it’s counted as if we used the
hour. A no-show means no communication, and it’s treated as a penalty charge.
8. Can I get updates on my child’s progress?
- Parents on monthly contracts receive emailed progress reports every month.
- Parents on biweekly plans will get quick weekly text updates with highlights from each
session. For more frequent updates, please join Class Dojo and i’ll send you the invite link for your student.
I’m always happy to share what we’re working on or discuss goals—just let me know how
involved you’d like to be!
- Do you work with kids who have IEPs, ADHD, or learning differences?
Absolutely. I do my best to create a patient, flexible, and encouraging environment tailored
to your child’s needs. - How do payments work?
You can choose to:
- Pay in full upfront (and save with bonus perks!)
- Use the 50/50 split plan: pay half before tutoring starts, and half at the midpoint
I accept Venmo, and CashApp for easy, secure payments.
